Chapter 2: Unbelievable Guest

It was a day after the new year, but the noise didn’t stop over the Le Mans. Plenty of cars arriving on the famed circuit, and Mitsuhashi glimpsed at some machines.

“A Renault Megane RS… A Peugeot 308… A Citroen DS4… A Ford Focus… A BMW 135i…”

Mitsuhashi looked at these flashy, Christmas tree-like European hot hatches, and impressed. The street racers lined up at the starting grid, in a Fast and Furious-style. He then proceeds to the location.

The Minun is dead serious in looking for those 'fools' in their European machines. He sets his lights to low and slowly approached the flickering light.

There were people dancing and talking; getting drunk with beer, hogging all over 'hot' women and banging their heads to the beats coming out of their cars' trunks. Beat music everywhere.

As the LFA comes closer, the music stopped. The lights stopped flickering on and off, then everyone started to panic for some reason.

“Wow, what the hell is this car from? Never seen such car.”
“A tuned exotic. But, a giant space flea from nowhere?”
“Oh my god… It’s a monster.”
“Who the hell is he? Never seen this guy at all!”

Mitsuhashi steps out of the Lexus, and one of the local street racers, Allen Sarviole, comes to ask him.

“Hey foreign dude. What’s your name? I am Allen Sarviole.” Allen greeted.
“Mitsuhashi Matsuda. Call me Magnificent Lightning.” Mitsuhashi replied confidently.
“Wow, you have such an exotic. How fast is it?” Allen asked.
“Well, it’s a secret. Top Secret.” Mitsuhashi added.
“By the way, nice to meet you. How are you today?” Allen asked.
“Hehe, as a tourist, I am good.” Mitsuhashi replied.
“Hey. your ass is mine.” Allen poked Mitsuhashi.
“Haha. Kidding, man.” Mitsuhashi laughed.
"Here's my number. Give me a miss call and I'll text you if I want to meet up, ayt?" Allen shows Mitsuhashi the number; Mitsuhashi inputs to his cell and miss calls Mitsuhashi.
"Got it. Thanks man... Next time, we could have a longer chat..." Allen replied.
"Sure... See you." Mitsuhashi leaves the area in his LFA. The smokes can be seen from the burnout.

Drifting through the Dunlop Curve and Dunlop Chicane, Mitsuhashi proceeds into the Esses curve, disappearing himself into the darkness.

Three weeks later, Mitsuhashi found a new job at the hotel, as a waiter who serves for the visitors things like breakfast and cleaning room. Well, he found the hotel relaxed so he decided to have a job here.

A shiny Eevee visited the hotel, and he found something interesting in this hotel. He, along with a Dedenne, was surprised.

This Eevee has a red-coloured goggles, and he drives a Renault Twingo. He then asked the unfamiliar person from overseas.

“Hello. What’s your name? I am Erich Claudon.” The Eevee asked.
“My name is Mitsuhashi Matsuda. You can call me M, and that’s no problem.” The Minun asked.
“Oh, no problem. Here’s my new friend, Mitsuhashi Matsuda. He’s hailing from Japan.” Erich turned to the Dedenne named James.
“Hello! My name is James.” The Dedenne doesn’t want to give out his family name.
“James? Nice to meet you.” Mitsuhashi replied.
“Well, you looks strange, something like a usual foreigner. But as you owned a famous car, I would like to interview you.” James added.
“Really?” Mitsuhashi blushed.
“Hah. I found your name on a car magazine. A magazine about import tuners.” James replied.
“Uh, well, let’s take this!” Mitsuhashi proceeds to Circuit de Nevers Magny Cours in his Lexus LFA.

“See you, guys! I’m taking this leisure!!!” Mitsuhashi waves when leaving the hotel.

In the evening at the Circuit de Nevers Magny Cours, Mitsuhashi is preparing for a free run. His LFA was fully prepared, yet balanced for everywhere. He is super confident at tackling the race tracks, due to being clockwise-direction like back when he was in Japan.

A strange traffic route found a famed circuit. Isn’t that obvious?

Well, James is going to interview Mitsuhashi for a short time, before the LFA decides to run for a lap.

“Well, are you prepared for this free-run? Seems like you’re super confident.” James asked.
“Hah. It’s easy. My LFA can complete this in less than two.” Mitsuhashi replied.
“Two minutes?” James asked.
“Yes.” Mitsuhashi answered instantly. “Yeah. I am running through this. My LFA was very fast.”
“Cool! You did that in Japan?” James asked.
“Yep. Somebody says I’m the fastest. No doubt.” Mitsuhashi replied.
“Really? I never think of that.” The Dedenne was confused.
“Yep. It’s a jong journey for every racers. One who can reach the top can be considered superiors.” The Minun told him.
“I knew. Well, are you prepared for this run?” James asked.
“Yep.” Mitsuhashi added.
“Here you go! Come back when you’ve finished the lap!” James replied before going back to pit stop.

As James leaves, Mitsuhashi starts revving his Lexus LFA, blasting the tachometer into the redline. Pushing the start button, the LFA dashes into the Grande Courbe section, at a very fast acceleration.

“It goes pretty fast here. Dashing, with twin turbos. It’s faster than I could.”

He then performed a long drift upon reahing the Estoril curve. Whips of white smoke can be seen from the sliding rubber. A hot lap begins from this!

Reaching the straight after exiting the corner, Mitsuhashi runs at very high speeds, around 300km/h, or 186mph, on the Golf straight. It’s pretty mean, for a tuned car.

“Unbelievable. It’s a fast machine even on the French tracks.” Mitsuhashi commented as he slows his car down upon reaching Adelaide turn.

The car starts drifting again, in a street-racing fashion. Mitsuhashi counter-steered so the Lexus won’t spin out. After exiting the corner, Mitsuhashi proceeds to Nurburgring corner through a straight. Slamming into the redline, Mitsuhashi tries to take the fastest lap as well as possible.

“This is one of the French tracks we should not forget. It was a Formula One track, so I must try it.” Mitsuhashi uttered during his run.
